This website is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg, in the data centre region Frankfurt, Germany, which processes data on our behalf.
When you access our website, we process technical connection information necessary to provide the website. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referring URL, browser and operating system information, HTTP status code, and volume of data transferred. This processing serves to deliver the website, diagnose errors, and protect against attacks and misuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website). Log data is deleted after 14 days; it may be retained longer where a specific security incident requires investigation.
The fonts on this website are stored on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is made.
When you contact us, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, company, professional contact details, message and, where relevant, your interests in our products or services. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and for subsequent business communications.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where an enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps requested by the individual; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling business enquiries). Data is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons require further storage.
If you request a demonstration, trial monitoring, a brand check or our case studies, we process your contact details and information about your company, brand, domain and relevant brand-related search terms. We use this information to assess your request, conduct and present the analysis, and contact you. Results may be linked to your contact record in our CRM system.
Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use contact details for advertising only where the applicable data protection and marketing-law requirements are satisfied.
To book a call we use Calendly, provided by Calendly LLC, Atlanta, USA. The calendar is only loaded when you allow it in the cookie settings or click a booking button. Loading it sends your IP address and browser details to Calendly in the US, and Calendly sets its own cookies inside the calendar. The details you enter when booking are processed by Calendly and passed on to us.
Our live chat is provided by Pipedrive OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia. The chat window is only loaded when you allow it or click the chat button. Loading it sends your IP address and browser details to Pipedrive, which sets its own cookies; what you type in the chat is stored in our CRM.
The legal basis for loading both services is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG); for a booking or chat enquiry itself, Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Privacy information: calendly.com/privacy, pipedrive.com/en/privacy
We use technologies necessary for operating the website and, subject to the appropriate consent, analytics and marketing technologies. Where cookies or comparable technologies store information on or access information from your device and no statutory exception applies, we require your consent under Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies to the associated processing of personal data.
You may refuse non-essential processing through our consent banner and change your choice at any time, with effect for the future, through the Cookie settings (also linked at the bottom of every page). Refusing non-essential tracking does not prevent you from using basic website functions. Details of the cookies and identifiers actually used, including their lifetimes, are available in the cookie settings.
Your choice is stored in the cookie adp_consent for 12 months. As proof of your consent (Article 7(1) GDPR) we keep a record of a random consent ID, the time, the banner version and what you chose, without your name or IP address. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; these records are kept for 3 years.
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to analyse use of and traffic to our website. This may involve processing event data (such as page views and interactions), technical device and browser information, approximate location information and online identifiers. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We use the results to improve our website and evaluate marketing activities.
Processing takes place only after you have consented (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG). The specific retention period depends on the settings configured in Google Analytics. Google privacy information: policies.google.com/privacy
We use Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to place advertising and measure enquiries and other conversions. This enables us to assess the effectiveness of our advertisements. Advertising and page interactions, technical connection information, conversion events and online identifiers may be processed. We do not use remarketing: our website does not add visitors to advertising audiences.
Conversion tracking is activated only after you have consented (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG). Google privacy information: policies.google.com/privacy
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. The tag enables us to measure our LinkedIn advertising campaigns and to see anonymous statistics about the companies and job roles of visitors. We do not use it to build retargeting audiences. Data processed may include page views and interactions, IP addresses, browser and device information, and cookie or other online identifiers. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, LinkedIn can link the visit to your profile.
The tag is activated only after you have consented (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG). Where LinkedIn processes data for its own purposes, its privacy policy also applies: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
We use Pipedrive’s “Web Visitors” feature, for which website visitor identification technology is provided by Leadfeeder. A script integrated into our website collects visit-related data to identify visiting businesses where possible. Data processed may include IP addresses, pages visited, visit times, sequences of pages visited, traffic sources and technical browser information. Identified businesses and their activity may be displayed in our Pipedrive account to help qualify leads.
The script is activated only after you have consented (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG). Further information: support.pipedrive.com/en/article/web-visitors-feature
We use Clay (Clay Labs Inc., USA) for B2B sales processes and the enrichment of business contact data. Clay does not currently run on this website: we use no Clay tracking script, so your website visit is not recorded by Clay.
Business information may be enriched with information from our own records, publicly available business sources and integrated data providers. Such information may include company name, industry, professional contacts, roles, business email addresses and telephone numbers. Findings may be transferred to Pipedrive for lead qualification.
B2B data enrichment and business-contact management may be based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where the relevant balancing of interests permits it. For promotional communications, we also comply with applicable marketing rules, particularly Section 7 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG). Privacy information: clay.com/privacy
Pipedrive (Pipedrive OÜ, Estonia) is our central customer relationship management (CRM) system. We store and manage business contact and master data, company affiliation, communication histories, enquiries, quotations, call notes and sales activities. This may include data from our web forms, the chat, and information obtained through Clay and Leadfeeder.
Processing is carried out to respond to enquiries, initiate contracts, support customers and organise sales. Depending on the circumstances, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Pipedrive acts as our processor under an agreement compliant with Article 28 GDPR. Privacy information: pipedrive.com/en/privacy
We may process professional contact details of representatives of businesses to answer enquiries, maintain existing business relationships and initiate new business relationships. We take account of the source, relevance and necessity of the data and the interests of the individuals concerned. Where the relevant requirements are met, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Email and other promotional communications are separately subject to the requirements of applicable unfair competition law; legitimate interests alone do not automatically permit the sending of marketing emails.
You may object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing at any time, without giving reasons (Article 21(2) GDPR). Please contact info@adpolice.com.
If you send us an application, we use your data only for the application process (Section 26 BDSG, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If we do not hire you, we delete your application six months after the process ends, unless you agree to us keeping it for future openings.
Personal data is accessible only to staff and service providers who need it for the purposes described. Recipients may include hosting and IT providers, the analytics, tracking, marketing, booking, chat and CRM providers mentioned above and, where necessary, contractually engaged advisers. Where providers act on our behalf, we conclude the agreements required by Article 28 GDPR. Disclosure to public authorities may occur where legally required.
Google, LinkedIn, Calendly, Clay and other service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Such transfers take place only where the conditions of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR are satisfied, for example based on an applicable adequacy decision, including certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where relevant, or on appropriate standard contractual clauses and any supplementary safeguards required. The precise safeguards depend on the recipient and the actual contractual and processing arrangements.
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the relevant purpose. Relevant factors include the duration of an enquiry or business relationship, statutory retention obligations, legitimate recordkeeping and evidentiary interests, and the deletion periods configured for each service. We periodically review whether sales and CRM data are still needed; data no longer required is deleted or anonymised unless legal reasons prevent this. Where processing is based on consent, withdrawal is respected for future processing; records of consent may be retained where legally permitted.
Subject to the relevant legal conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR). In particular, you may object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing at any time. Please address your request to info@adpolice.com.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for our registered office is, in particular, the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Hamburgischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, HmbBfDI): datenschutz-hamburg.de. You may also contact another competent supervisory authority.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss and misuse. Data transferred through our website is encrypted using HTTPS. We update this Privacy Policy when our data processing, technical implementations or legal requirements change.
Tell us what this is about and we'll come back to you. We only need a company email address to reply to.
